5 Months Old

I can't believe my girls are 5 months old! I know people say that kids grow up too fast, but it is already going by so quick!

The last 5 months have been such a blessing. Getting to know these precious girls and Will and I growing in love for each other and for our children. We still can't believe we are parents.... especially of twin girls. The night we stayed in the hospital with the girls before we brought them home as we were going to sleep for the few hours before their next feeding Will said "what have we done"... we both just started laughing. Little did we know really how much those precious 5 lb babies would change our lives forever! I praise the Lord for these 5 months with our girls. Thank you Lord for the gift of children, and for blessing us with Emma and Addison.

Father's Day

It was awesome celebrating Will's first Father's Day. Who would have imagined Will Eubanks with twin girls!! If you know Will you know he is into every sport imaginable - and has more guy friends than any one I know! His sisters and I have a theory that he likes guy time so much because he never had a brother growing up. Now, he has more girls :) I think the Lord is going to use these sweet girls to refine my husband in ways that nothing else could. He is already so in love with them. I can't wait to see him melt when they say his name, crawl into his lap to cuddle, or kiss him goodnight as they get older. I am thankful for he is such a great provider for our family. Will knew how strongly I wanted to stay home with our kids, and he is doing everything in his power to make that possible. The Lord has been so amazing to provide for us, and I am thankful that I have the sweet gift and privelege to stay at home with our girls.

Will, you are great Dad. I am thankful that I get to share this journey with you. I know the girls will grow to love you. I can't wait to see the Lord use you in their lives and for Him to use them in yours. I love you and you are a great Daddy!

First Mother's Day and Three Months Old

My first Mother's Day was such a blessing. Will got up early and got breakfast and flowers for me. Then we got to have a nice meal with Will's family at our house. The girls also turned 3 months old. Being a mom is the biggest blessing, challenge, and joy. It is very humbling to know how much my little ones depend on me and look to me for their everything. I am so thankful for a Heavenly Father who helps me be the best mom I can be every day, giving me the strength, wisdom and patience I need to grow these girls in the Lord for His glory. Being a mom also has made me think about how much I love my children, and how much more the Lord must love me, and them. The sacrifice that HE made of His son is that much more real now that I have children of my own. What a great God we serve. That He would give His only son so that we can become the righteousness of God thru Jesus. Amazing Love!
I am also thankful to my mom for being an example of such a great mom. She loves us all so much and is always putting others before herself. I have learned that is how it works once you are mom :) Especially with two little ones at once.

I am also thankful for my sweet mother in law Fran. She is not like most mother in laws... she is a constant source of encouragement and I am so thankful for her.

First Photo Shoot

My sweet friend Hailey came over on March 25th and took some sweet pictures of our girls for their birth announcement. Hailey is a great photographer, and graphic designer and offered to help me out by taking the photo's and making an announcement.

The pictures turned out GREAT. They were taken in the bassinet that was Will's when he was a baby. Fran cleaned it up and got it from Mama Jan for us to use. It was the perfect place to put the girls for the pictures. Thanks to Hailey for taking some sweet pictures. Addison was a little more cooperative than Emma. I snapped a few another day for her shot. The birth announcement turned out so great! Thank you Hailey for blessing us! Not sure why it turned out purple and green :) the original announcement was aqua and pink!

Cabo Wabo

Soo, I left my sweet girls for the first time over night.... well 4 nights to be exact... it felt like ALOT longer than that! Breastfeeding and leaving your babies can be a little tricky, let me tell you. I pumped in places I never thought I would! But, it was really worth it. It was also intimidating getting into a bathing suit only a few months after the girls came!

We had a chance to go to Cabo with our friends Jeff and Teddy, and we couldn't pass it up! Let me tell you, that place it beautiful! Our resort was so nice. We spent every day pool side soaking in the sun, and some much needed relaxation. It was strange not waking to a baby crying! It was great to have some time with just Will. We went out into town one night, but the other nights we would hang out on the 3rd floor patio and play cards. Listen to the waves, and music from the 2nd floor. It was really a relaxing trip. I was ready to come home probably by Sunday, but... it was still a really fun trip!
