VBS - So fun, So tiring!

We had VBS at church last week. It was such a blessing serving! I love the people of GPBC. It was so encouraging to be around all the sweet people who were a part of VBS. Renee and I did Music together. We had fun choregraphing some of the songs, and teaching all the moves to the kids. We had kids ages 2 - 6th grade! The kids were awesome. The theme was centered around the Lord's prayer, and they did a great job learning it! I was pretty tired by the end of the day. The girls went up two days and missed their morning naps, they just played and played and had a grand old time. They came home and took 3 hour naps tired girls! I am thankful we got to be a part of VBS. It was nice to get out and be doing something than the normal routine. I know the girls get bored here playing with the same old toys, new faces, new toys = happy tired girls. They kept asking to go "bye bye" every morning for a few days after VBS ended... I think they liked it!

It is Summer Time!

We are in Houston this week spending time with my family and enjoying all the sunny weather! My parents have a pool, and we have been taking every opportunity to soak up the sun. It has been a really fun visit. The girls are loving being here. My parents have 3 dogs, and being dog lovers they are constantly squealing and talking to them.

Addi bear is taking lots of steps, and Emma is just running around trying to figure out what trouble she can get into next.
We have been eating at home mostly. My Dad is a great cook, and going out with 4 babies is risky. Case in point. The one time we ventured out we went to Lubys. Thought it would be a good pick for the kiddos, lots of veggies, and senior citizens who probably love babies :) Well, we put the girls in the high chairs and start strolling them down the food aisle, they start going crazy squealing at all the food. If you haven't been around the girls lately.... lets just say they are very vocal. So we sit down and start getting them some food cut up, we look up and Emma is nawing on a piece of corn bread. My mom said, "where did she get that corn bread?" the little piglet had grabbed it off of my Dad's plate! It was hilarious. And all went downhill from there! Needless to say, we did not attempt to go out again.

We are loving being with Cousins Kate and Abby. Kate is just a month older than the girls, but is talking up a storm! She is so sweet, and the girls all play together really well so that is nice. They are loving baby Abby. They like to say baby, and want to give her kisses. It is too cute.

We had an interesting trip down. We did good until about Conroe, Addi decided she needed to potty, so we stopped and I changed her. They were both fussy at this point. Luckily, my friend Courtney had let us borrow a video! Baby Signing Time..... the girls watched it once and were signing hat, and waving to people when we stopped at a red light! So funny! They are signing baby up a storm now, and Emma even trys to sing it. HA

I am thankful to Will for letting us go and spend time with them. I miss them, especially my sweet sisters. Great way to kick off Summer!
