Home Home on the Range

Sooo, I have an AMAZING husband. He lets me pack up the girls and go visit my family about once a month. We go down and stay with Marmie and Papa D, and get to catch up with family and friends in good ole Pasadena. This trip I got to celebrate my grandpas 91st birthday, and go to a shower of a dear friend of mine from junior high. We went out to eat for Grandpa's birthday. The girls.... were less then cooperative. It was just an off day! They cried at Grandma, and almost everyone for that matter, and they would not take their bottles. It was a little stressful! Luckily I had lots of family there to help me. They did look cute though in their polka dots. Kate had her polka dots on too :) After the party we all went out in the front yard on a blanket and just hung out. They were happy then, of course, we were outside... surprise, surprise. I love this picture of Mere and Kate! Mere is a great Mom, Kate is such a handful! So active. This day she was going from sitting down to standing up without pushing herself up... crazy kid! She is leaps and bounds ahead of the twins in this area. She is going to be walking very soon at this rate. I am just trying to get the girls to tolerate tummy time. Don't know what Mere and I would do without Amanda when I am home. I told her after I found out it was twins that there would be three babies... one for all of us :)
The shower for my sweet friend Shelley was really fun. Mom watched the girls so I could go. She is an amazing girl, and I am thankful that we have stayed in touch over the years.
It is always really refreshing to be at home. I know I have lived in Dallas for almost 10 years, but, Pasadena is still home. Everyone lives so close there and it is great to see Meemaw and Grandma every time I go home. Thank you Will for letting your girls go, and thank you to my family for the fun time we always have!

First Family Park Trip

The girls are at such a fun age! Will says I say that every month, but really, they are! We have been taking a walk almost every evening together before bath time. They love to look at nature and take turns sitting up front. No matter how fussy they are, going on a walk always makes it better. Tonight we had a special treat! We all got to go to the park together. The weather is cooling down a little bit so the evening shade is perfect for swinging! We didn't know if they would be big enough, but with a dew blankets tucked around they fit just right in the toddler swinge. It was fun to have Will with us. The girls absolutley adore him and spending time with him. I may have a couple of Daddy's girls on my hands here. We got some big smiles swinging at the park. Think this might be a new fav of the Eubanks Tweens.

Getting so Big

I decided to have another photo shoot in the bassinete for their 7 month. They barely fit these days. These sweet little outfits were given to us my Gancie (Fran). The blanket my Mom made. I had fun taking these shoots. They are not my still little models anymore. They are eating the flowers, moving around, barely holding still for Mommy to get a shot! Recently their favs are eating apples out of their food suckers, the alpahbet ball, and exersaucers. They love playing in them while Mommy makes dinner! I am so thankful for my precious girls. Thankful to the Lord for allowing me and Will to be their parents, and for the last 7 months with them.

Fun Pics

Took these pics before bath time one night. They were just having the best time! It cracks me up how they look like they are singing in half of them, and they other half look like they are on a roller coaster! They are laughing and smiling so much these days. Can't believe my girls are 7 months old.
These glasses were given to us at Kate's party. The girls didn't seem to mind wearing them at all. We got a good laugh out of it! They are too funny.

Happy Birthday Kate Davis!

Kate Davis is one! The girls got to go to their first birthday party ever! Kate had a tulip party and Cara was sweet to let the girls borrow some of her clothes so they could dress the theme. It was a fun time to be with friends and family and celebrate sweet Kate.
We are so thankful to have our friends Will, Cara, Jack, Josie and Kate just two doors down! What a blessing. The Davis' have been a constant source of love and encouragement in our lives. I love having an experienced Mom so close when I have those crazy first time Mom questions. Kate was too cute with her ice cream! It was such a fun party. We look forward to many more parties with our sweet friends the Davis'. Happy Birthday Kate!

TV Stars

We had an exciting day today in the Eubanks house hold.... NBC channel 5 came to our house! Scott Friedman did a story on our insurance situation. Will did a good job telling the story of the girls stay in the NICU and our struggle with the insurace and doctors in NICU being out of network. I hope they don't make us look silly! Sometimes they take the stupidest things people say and put them on! Hopefully they will do a good job. It was weird having them at the house. It will be fun to tell the girls that they were on TV when they were babies. Here are a few pics of our little TV stars!

Babies First Beach Trip

Sooo.... the girls got to take their first trip to the beach this summer! My parents have a beach home in Crystal beach. It has been a great place to go every summer. It is two rows from the beach, and has a great deck to watch the sun sets and a swing to sit and watch the waves. Will proposed to me down there so it has alot of great memories!

The whole family was there. Mere, Justin and Kate. Mom, Dad and Amanda. It was a great time. Even though it rained alot.... we made the most of it. The girls LOVED the swing. They also loved playing in the pack and play on the deck. I think one day they spent about an hour just swinging with Will. It was a great time for him to have some time with them too. They didn't like their first trip to the beach as you can see from the pictures... it was a little windy even with the tent.

We took a walk as a family down the the beach, less wind and sun and they like it alot better. It was a great memory. We put their toes in the sand, and water. I wish we would have had someone take a pic of us down there. We did get one on the deck before going down there. It was my Mom's birthday, so we all got to celebrate together. It was really a blessing to be with everyone. We are thankful we got to go.

Happy 4th of July

For the 4th we packed up the car and headed on a road trip to good ole Arkansas to spend the holiday with Will's family. We all caravaned their... Will's fam was great about letting me stop to feed the girls and such. We got to stop in Little Rock so the girls could meet Grandmommy, Bills Mom, and the girls great grandmother for the first time! She is a twin, so it was neat to have her meet the girls.

Then we loaded up again and headed to Danville to meet Mama Fan, the girls Great Great Grandmother for the first time and meet the rest of Fran's family. It was great being on the farm and seeing all of Will's sweet aunts, uncles, cousins and fam. The girls are becoming quite the little travelers with trips to Houston and now Arkansas! Mama Jan wanted to take a 5 generation picture for the Yell County Record. The girls are so blessed to have so many Great Grandparents!

We had a great display of fire works out at the farm, and Helen, Janette and Will went out hunting. Luckily the girls slept thru the fire works!
Here are a few pics of all the 4th of July fun!

Goodbye Parker

Have a whole range of emotions as I live my first job out of college to be a stay at home mom. Feeling blessed that I am able to stay at home, feeling thankful that I had such a great job these last 4 and half years, sad to leave sweet friends and co-workers.

Parker has been a great place to work. I had an AMAZING team in Student Affairs. They always helped me no matter what I asked help with. So many memories of events.... pancake study breaks, christmas parties, movie nights, talent shows.... oh, and the AMAZING blessing of getting adjusted when I needed it. I really miss that.

I am thankful for the friends I made, and the time I spent at Parker. I pray I blessed others, as much as I was blessed. The party was so fun. Getting to introduce the girls to everyone and say goodbye.

More PIcs from Amanda's Party

Congratulations Aunt Amanda

My baby sister graduated from Highschool! I can't believe that my littlest sister is all grown up. It was a joy and blessing to be home to celebrate with Amanda on her special day. Meredith had a cake made with the theme of pink, black and white, and we worked hard to get everything looking just right for the party. It wasn't easy with Emma, Addi and Kate either!!!

Amanda was my training for my babies now :) I was in 3rd grade when she was born. I remember waking her up, and running to mom to say she was awake so I could hold her. I remember teaching her to walk and rollerskate.

I am proud of my sister, and thankful for her prescence in my life. I pray that she will always know how much we love her.

5 Months Old

I can't believe my girls are 5 months old! I know people say that kids grow up too fast, but it is already going by so quick!

The last 5 months have been such a blessing. Getting to know these precious girls and Will and I growing in love for each other and for our children. We still can't believe we are parents.... especially of twin girls. The night we stayed in the hospital with the girls before we brought them home as we were going to sleep for the few hours before their next feeding Will said "what have we done"... we both just started laughing. Little did we know really how much those precious 5 lb babies would change our lives forever! I praise the Lord for these 5 months with our girls. Thank you Lord for the gift of children, and for blessing us with Emma and Addison.

I took some pictures for their 5 month birthday! These beautiful gowns were Will's when he was a baby, the basinette was his as well. Emma is in the white, Addi in the teal. In case you were wondering :)
